Modifications/Anomalies: (Since the photos were taken, I sanded off the Yamaha logo on the headstock, as I did with the black Yamaha.)

Details: After the success I had with my black 360 bass, when I needed to find a fretless bass for some tracks, I was pleased to find Yamaha had an RBX variation. The natural wood has a beautiful and simple elegance, and the tone through the P-style pickups is clean. It’s got an alder body and a supple rosewood neck that, like the black 360, is extremely playable. I’ve used this for a number of tracks, even when it doesn’t initially call for a fretless sound.
