Greg Smith is a singer-songwriter living in Blairsville, GA. “No Regrets” is his twelfth album of original songs.  

Greg has played music from when he could first reach a piano keyboard.  As a kid, he borrowed his sister’s Kay guitar ($29. from Sears!) and learned how to play basic chords, then listened to the radio and figured out every Beatles song. He wrote his first song, “Midnight” on his 21st birthday and never looked back.  He has well over 100 published and recorded original songs. Along with best friend Rich, he started recording their songs on an old tape machine, and eventually moved to digital and started a recording studio where he learned to play for and produce other artists.  

Greg ‘s music and production experience is broad. He's composed music for dozens of artists, as well as for Lucasfilm, CBS and IMAX. He also taught music at The Savannah College of Art and Design and American University. "The common link in all these jobs is storytelling," he says.

Greg spends most of his time these days composing and recording music in his Blairsville studio, working on his charity producing and recording prison songs (follow tab at the top of this page), and touring with his band.  “Of all the things I’ve been lucky enough to do with my life,” he says, “music has been the one, constant, unifying factor.  It’s been there for me in bad times and good, and never lets me down.”
